The World Series of Poker (or simply WSOP) is a popular series of poker tournaments. What started as a single tournament of 7 players in 1970 at the Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas, has now became a worldwide brand that includes 74 events in various countries. Most of them are played with variations of the Texas Hold’em, but they include other types as well.
Most events are held in one day, but the major ones can last for many days in a row. If you will take a look on their official website, you will see 6 main categories:
- WSOP Las Vegas
