Doug Polk is a 29 year old former professional poker player from the United States. His alias was WCGRider and he was specialized in heads-up No Limit hold’em. He is now retired from poker and is involved in cryptocurrency. He partially owns the website CoinCentral and also owns a Youtube channel dedicated to crypto.

He was born in Pasadena, California and started to show a talent and interest in strategy games from the age of 5, when his father taught him to play chess. When he was 15 he was very passionate about Warcraft 3 and became so good, that he took part at multiple World Cyber Games tournaments. He started with the smallest stakes possible and transformed a deposit of $20 into $10,000. He had his ups and downs, and in 2011 he almost went broke. But he then made a recover and in 2013 he was known as one of the best online players in the world at heads-up no limit hold’em. One of his popular games was that against Ben Sulsky, a game that had 15,000 hands. Doug Polk was the winner after all, and made $840,000 from that game alone.

He is number 78 in an all-time money list of poker players and number 44 from the United States. His popularity ranking is 29, and we can also tell that from the number of Twitter followers.
