They wanted to make sure that everyone is treated equally and to repay the Bad Beat Jackpot contributions exactly. They concluded that the best way to do this is to re-open the poker game and to lower the requirements of the bad beat jackpot until it is earned by players.
The new owners wanted to be fully transparent, they changed some of the staff and some of the rules and it seems that they made the right thing. The poker game slowly got back on track and now it attracts plenty of new players and enthusiasts.
